Toyota-Suzuki Partner to Launch EVs in India By 2020

Toyota and Suzuki have reported the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on making a joint procedure for the introduction of electric vehicles in India by 2020.

The agreement stems from the two companies have concluded on February 6 this year a MOU on starting contemplations for the business association, after which they started discussing, among other topics, the dissemination of vehicle electrification technologies in India.

According to the terms of the joint venture, Suzuki will deliver the EVs to the Indian market while likewise supplying some to Toyota.
