Tata Teases New Concept Ahead Of Debut at Geneva Motor Show 2018

Tata Motors has dropped the foremost teaser of a brand new concept car for the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, which is going to be held next month.

It will be the homegrown automaker's 20th appearance at Geneva since the spree began in 1998 with the showcase of the humble Indica. Shortly after, the company revealed a short video featuring the kind of cars we can expect from its two new platforms - the Alfa and Omega - in the near future. Now, however, Tata confirmed that it will be unveiling its next big concept at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2018.

The Geneva stage has always been Tata's favorite as the Mumbai-based carmaker has been a part of it for 20 years now. The carmaker has likewise displayed many ambitious projects at the Geneva, most of which culminated into actual production models. This new concept, slated to be revealed on 6 March, is speculated to be the third product of Tata's new IMPACT Design 2.0 philosophy. There is a considerable measure of similarity to the H5X SUV concept with the sleek LED headlights and the Tri-Arrow motif beneath it on the bumpers. However, the teaser has the car finished in a blue shade compared to the orange shade of the H5X.

Tata Motors showcased the H5X SUV and 45X hatchback concepts to the world for the first time at the recently concluded Delhi Auto Expo 2018. While the SUV is based on a Land Rover derived platform, OMEGA (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced), the hatchback is underpinned by Tata's brand new modular platform, ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced). Both the concepts additionally debuted Tata's new Impact 2.0 design language.

Most selling cars from Tata comprise Nexon, Tiago, Tigor, Zest, Indica and more. Besides this new concept, Tata could additionally showcase the RaceMo +-, the fully electric version of the RaceMo sports car, along with the H5X SUV and the 45X concepts.
