2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS launched in India priced at Rs 2.7 crore

All New 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS has been launched in India and is priced at ₹ 2.7 crore (ex-showroom).

The four-door sports luxury sedan is a standout amongst the most captivating to drive too and has been refreshed for the 2018 model year with subtle styling upgrades and new features as well. The 2018 Quattroporte GTS was first showcased at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show and is being offered in two trim choices - GranLusso and GranSport. Each trim level has been conceived to meet the needs of customers that seek a distinctive and unique product in the executive saloon segment.

Powering the top-of-the-line Quattroporte is a 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine that pumps out 530PS of energy and 710Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed ZF programmed unit, which can recognize and change its shifting pattern based on the driving style. The setup is enough to propel the four-door sedan to 100kmph from naught in just 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 310kmph.

The Maserati Touch Control Plus unit assumes pride of position at the centre of the Quattroporte dashboard. MTC+ can be operated in three ways: via the multi-touchscreen, the rotary control in the central console, or through voice commands. The state-of-the-art system additionally includes both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto mirroring functions, along with the Wi-Fi option.

The Quattroporte GTS is offered with an option of two sound systems - the 900-watt, 10-speaker Harman Kardon Premium Sound framework fitted as standard. For those looking the ultimate acoustics, there is the new generation Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound system featuring fifteen speakers and a 1,280-watt amplifier.

The security program, versatile full LED headlights with glare-free high-beam assist, six airbags and active headrests ensure the focus on safety aspects is intact. The Quattroporte GTS will compete with the likes of the Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera.
