Established in 1945, Tata Motors has prominent presence in all zones of India. Over 8 million Tata vehicles play on Indian roads, since it rolled out its first vehicle in 1954. Tata Motors also has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. The company acquired Jaguar Land Rover, a premium English brand in 2008.
