Swedish automaker, Volvo Cars feature's Skype with its new 90 Series cars

Volvo has announced that it will introduce Skype for Business use with its new 90 Series cars. Swedish automaker Volvo Cars has joined American tech-giant, Microsoft, to work for the future of automotive industry.

The whole purpose of integrating Skype for Business includes - a platform used by millions across the globe with car’s tech, to replace tedious tasks like joining and organising conference calls over phone. Company told that with its 90 series cars, user would be able to view and participate in their upcoming meetings without any hassle.

Such development promises a very exciting future for automobile industry. The duo is working for integrating most of the work-related Microsoft tools in all Volvo cars for future. For example, linking Microsoft Exchange, Calendar and Cortana to Volvo’s on-board GPS navigation which would synchronize meetings or official stopovers.

Once commanded, GPS navigation will automatically route the passenger accordingly to complete the day’s task in the most productive way possible.
