Swedish Automaker Volvo is going to launch its S60 Cross Country in India on 11 March, 2016 at an estimated price of Rs 42 Lakh. The new S60 Cross Country will be the first new car launched by Volvo in 2016 for Indian market.

The Cross Country has an increased ride height of 65mm as compared to its currently available Sedan sibbling. It is expected to have exterior design similar to that of sedan, with 18 or 19 inch wheel base and an AMT.

New S60 Cross Country is expected to be powered by two diesel engine options - 2.0 L D4 diesel engine and 2.4 L D4 diesel engine producing 184 bhp and 175 bhp respectively. Both engines will be mated to 6-speed automatic transmission. Volvo is confident that new S60 Cross Country should do well in the Indian market.
