Toyota Innova Crysta Receives 18k Bookings in India

Over 18 thousand bookings received since the launch of Toyota Innova Crysta

Toyota Kirloskar Motor India has received 18,000 bookings for Innova Crysta  since its launch. The car has a waiting period of three to four months currently. Innova Crysta was officially launched in Indian market on 2nd of May at a modest price of Rs. 13.84 lakh. The MPV is available in three trims - GX, VX and ZX.

According to the car manufacturer, there is a higher demand for its top-end ZX variant which is equipped with an automatic transmission and costs Rs 20.78 lakh. 

The new Innova Crysta is loaded with a host of features like - a new 7-inch entertainment system with voice commands, Bluetooth connectivity, seven airbags, three-point seatbelts for all occupants, stability control, ABS with EBD and Auto brake assist, 

Three airbags and ABS come as standard in all variants. The cabin is now more spacious and luxurious with an all-new dashboard featuring multiple gadgetries and an extensive list of features such as electric adjust front seats, climate control and leather upholstery.

Under the hood, the Innova Crysta is powered with a 2.4-litre GD, Intercooler diesel engine which develops 146.9bhp of power and 343Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The latter one is powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine which develops 174.5bhp of power and 360Nm of torque. It is mated to a new 6-speed automatic transmission. The engines come with three drive modes – Eco, Normal and Sport.

Toyota motors company is currently manufacturing 7,000 units per month at its Bidadi plant (Bangalore) and is looking to increase the production rate.
