Toyota Innova Crysta Receives 15k Bookings in India

Over 15 thousand bookings received since the launch of Toyota Innova Crysta

Toyota Motors has Received around 15k Bookings of its recently launched Toyota Innova Crysta. The car was officially launched in Indian market on 2nd of May at a modest price of Rs. 13.84 lakh. The MPV is available in three trims - GX, VX and ZX. New Innova Crysta is based on an all-new IMV (International Multi-purpose vehicle) platform which is lighter, stiffer and safer than the previous generation Innova. New Innova Crysta is based on Tata’s gen-next ‘Impact’ design philosophy.

The new Innova Crysta is equipped with a 7-inch entertainment system with voice commands, Bluetooth connectivity, seven airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, stability control, three-point seatbelts for all occupants, even for the middle passenger in the third row. Three airbags and ABS come standard in all variants. The cabin is more spacious, luxurious and well-appointed with an all-new dashboard featuring multiple gadgets and an extensive list of features such as electric adjust front seats, leather upholstery and climate control.

Under the hood, the Innova Crysta is powered with a 2.4-litre GD, VNT Intercooler diesel engine which develops 146.9bhp of power and 343Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The latter one is good enough 2.8-litre diesel engine which develops 174.5bhp of power and 360Nm of torque. It is mated to a new six-speed automatic transmission. The engines come with three drive modes – Eco, Normal and Sport. Toyota claims that the MPV’s engines are 10% more fuel efficient than the old engines.
