Home-grown automaker Tata Motors has confirmed the launch of the Tigor on 29 March, 2017. The car is based on Tiago, which shares the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.05-litre diesel engine. Both engines will come mated to a five-speed manual transmission like the Tiago AMT, Tigor is also expected to get a variant with automated manual transmission.
The Company has tagged the Tigor as a Styleback and it is surely one of the most anticipated cars to make its way to Tata showrooms. Like Tata Tiago, which has been a successful hatchback for the company, Tigor will offer the same design language.
Inside, the equipment list will be the same like - ConnectNext infotainment system by Harman with the eight-speaker sound system, GPS navigation support via Navi Maps, cooled glovebox, two drive modes (Eco and City), dual-tone interior upholstery, dual airbags, ABS with EBD and corner stability control.
Tata Tigor is expected to come in a price range of Rs 4.5-6 lakhs
