Tata Motors has launched the upgraded Safari Storme on 25 November 2015 with the price tag of Rs. 13.52 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Safari Storme gets 2.2 liter Varicor400 4 cylinder engine with produces 154bhp and 400Nm (25% more than current model). This upgradation comes in 4X2 VX trim and is expected to be introduced in 4X4 VX trim sometime soon.

Current model of Tata Safari Storme is powered by 2.2 liter Varicor320 4 cylinder engine which gives a power of 140bhp and 320Nm. The new engine enables Safari Storme to attain 0-100km in 12.8 seconds. Cost wise, the upgraded trim is approx Rs. 40,000 more than the current model.
