SsangYong is ready to launch its compact crossover Tivoli in India which is expected to make its debut at India Auto Expo in February 2016. It is expected to come in both petrol and diesel options. SsangYong Tivoli will compete with Hyundai Creta which was biggest hit in India in compact SUV/Crossover segment by offering similar packages.

Tivoli is expected to come with 1.6 L petrol and diesel engines similar to what Creta offers. The 1.6 L  e-XGi160 petrol engine have max power up to 126bhp and torque of 160Nm and  e-XDi160 diesel engine produces power of 113bhp with peak torque of 300 Nm. It is coming with standard 6-speed manual transmission and optional AMT, in both 2WD and 4WD and expected to give good competition to Hyundai Creta.
