Skoda launched third generation Superb in India starting at a price of Rs 23.11-29.92 Lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). New Skoda Superb is built on Volkswagen Group's popular MQB platform which makes it 75kg lighter than its predecessor. It is available in two trims- style and Laurin & Klement.

New Skoda Superb comes with some cosmetic updates along with added smart features. It has now more spacious interior, longer wheelbase, 625-litre boot and gets an umbrella stowed in each front door. Top variant gets 6.5-inch touch screen interface, SmartLink infotainment system which is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, full-leather interior and 12-speaker Canton audio system. 

New Skoda Superb is powered by both Petrol and diesel engine that remains unchanged. It uses 1.8 TSI petrol engine that produces power of 176bhp and 320Nm of torque and 2.0 TDI CR diesel engines that churns out 173bhp and 350Nm of torque. In the petrol version, engine is mated with 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) automatic unit. The diesel variants only come equipped with a 6-speed DSG automatic.
