Skoda India has launched Onyx edition of Octavia, having price range starting at Rs 22.61 lakh for the petrol and Rs 24.31 lakh for diesel variant (Ex-showroom, Mumbai). It is available in three shades - blue, red and white.

Under the hood, petrol Onyx edition continues to be powered by a 1.8 TSI petrol engine that comes mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission, while the diesel version is powered by a 2.0 TDI engine which comes mated to a 6-speed DSG transmission.

Coming to its features, the Onyx edition cars get sports black kit like – black coloured spoiler, dynamic honeycomb air inlets, new decorative foils and door sills, 16-inch Premia black alloy wheels and black exterior mirrors. It also offers Bi-Xenon projector headlights, 12-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function and a panoramic sunroof.

For safety, the Octavia Onyx edition gets airbags, ABS and EBD.
