Skoda Auto India announced price hike on its entire model range starting January 2016. The price hike will vary from 2 – 3% and is expected to be around Rs 14,000 to Rs 50,000 depending on model & variant. Skoda Auto India currently sells four models - Rapid, Octavia, Yeti and Superb, priced between Rs 7.55 lakh and Rs 26.83 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). 

Skoda Auto India said” The increase in price is due to the rising input costs and rapid changing in market condition”. Already various automakers BMW, Mercedes Benz, Hyundai, Toyota, Maruti Suzuki have announced price hike on their models from January 2016 due to rising input costs.
