British carmaker Rolls Royce has announced the date for launch of its super luxury convertible, the Dawn on 24th June. Dawn is powered by a powerful 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine which develops 570PS of power and 780Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed ZF gearbox. According to rolls Royce, the Dawn crosses 100kmph mark in just 4.9 seconds.
Rolls-Royce Dawn is loaded with features and gadgets like – a Satellite Aided Transmission which uses GPS to predict road conditions and adjusts the transmission accordingly to feedback. It also gets the most advanced Multimedia Interface and a navigation system which includes a 10.25 HD navigation screen and iDrive system with a 16 speaker bespoke audio surround. The car also offers boot capacity of 244 to 295 litres,
The British carmaker claims that Dawn’s cabin will be the most silent one. Despite using a fabric roof, it will be the quietest cabin among all its convertibles. The roof can expand and retract in 22 seconds at a maximum speed of 50kmph.
The dawn is expected to price around Rs 4 crore
