Renault sells 1 lakh units of kwid in India

Renault India has registered 1 lakh units of Kwid since September 2015

Renault India has achieved a new milestone by selling more than 1 lakh kwid in India. In September 2016 The baby duster was introduced in India and since then it has found its way into the heart of car buyers.

Last year when it was first launched, Kwid was the only one on sale with 800cc unit to compete against Maruti Suzuki Alto800. Recently, the French car maker has launched Kwid 1.0 litre and Kwid AMT to compete against Alto K10 and Alto K10 AMT respectively. The SUV-inspired design, with the smoked headlamps grabs the attention of Indian buyers. It offers first in class features like – Touchscreen music system with Navigation and Digital instrument Cluster. The hatchback is practical in terms of cabin and boot space.

Renault avails Kwid with 0.8 litre and 1.0 litre petrol engine. The 0.8 litre engine is comming up mated with a five-speed manual transmission, while the powerful 1.0 litre offers AMT.

Renault kwid is priced at Rs 2.64 lakh for the base STD variant while the top RXT 1.0 (O) variant carries a sticker price of Rs 3.95 lakh. The recently launched Kwid AMT has been priced at Rs 4.25 lakh. All prices ex-showroom Delhi.
