Renault India has launched the Kwid 1.0 at Rs 3.82 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Kwid 1.0 is powered by a larger and more powerful 999cc 3-cylinder petrol engine which develops 68hp of power and 91Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox which delivers a good fuel economy of 23km/l. 

From outside, the differences between the 1.0 version and its 800cc version are few. The kwid 1.0 comes with silver-touched side view mirrors and a check painted rubber strip along the lower door panels, while the interior remains the same as 800cc kwid.

The car has also received safety features which include keyless entry, seatbelt pre-tensioners with load limiters, centre locking, front airbags and ABS.

The Renault Kwid is available in two trims RXT and RXT(O) with prices:
