Renault India launched its highly-anticipated budget hatchback “Kwid” in Indian market. Deliveries are expected to begin sometime in October. The Kwid is available in 4 Petrol variants, in the price range of Rs. 2.56 lakhs – Rs. 3.53 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is built on the CMF-A platform with 98% of localisation.

With SUV inspired design, Kwid is Powered by 799cc three-cylinder Petrol engine it has 53bhp of power with 72Nm of max torque. The Kwid comes with several class-leading features such as 300 L boot space, 180mm ground clearance and a 4.1-inch touch-screen infotainment system. It has 5 speed manual transmission, and is claimed to offer an impressive mileage of 25.17km/l. Upper variants have electric power steering and power windows.
