Nissan India has slashed prices of Micra CVT variant, now starts at Rs 5.99 Lakh

Nissan India has slashed prices of the Micra CVT by up to Rs 54,000. The hatchback range now starts at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-Showroom, Delhi). Nissan Micra CVT was first launched in 2013 in single XV variant. The hatchback is locally produced in Oragadam Chennai plant.

According to Arun Malhotra, managing director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd, “The Nissan Micra CVT brings new levels of technology, performance and style to the premium hatchback segment in India. Its offers practical features, a more enjoyable driving experience that raises the bar in this part of the market. It has attractive pricing and impressive fuel economy makes it an even more compelling choice in terms of both driving pleasure and value for money.”

The company says that "X-TRONIC CVT transmission is more fun to drive with no shift shocks and smoother acceleration."

Nissan Micra is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder engine that develops 77PS of power and 104Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to front wheels via a CVT automatic transmission. It also gets goodies such as automatic climate control, an integrated music system with steering mounted controls, and keyless-entry and go, etc.
