Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe India launch on 21st July

The wait is finally over, German carmaker Mercedes-Benz is gearing up to expand its AMG-powered lineup in India. The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in early October 2016 and is all set to launch in India on 21st July 2017.

This new GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe had all the expectations covered within. It is powered by a Bi-Turbo 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine that pumps out 367 PS and 520 Nm of torque. The motor is mated to a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission which is tweaked to attain shortened shift times and an AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system with a rear bias of 69%(sighs).

The new Mercedes AMG GLC-43 being lighter than the Mercedes-Benz GLE SUVs, is much faster, and will be able to achieve 0-100kmph out of 4.9 seconds only isn't it amazing. Following, it will go on to top the speed off at an electronically restricted 250kmph limit. Mechanically, Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe differentiates itself from regular model by means of diamond pin radiator grille, glossy black and chrome accents all around, body kit, and quad-pipe exhaust system.

The interior comes with a sporty appeal with an all black colour theme with red stitching and seat belts. The flat bottom steering wheel entices the inner feel further. The dashboard portrays an attractive design with several carbon fibre bits.

From outside, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 has larger air intakes on the front bumper, while the front lip spoiler is dipped in silver. There are 19-inch alloy wheels, which puts cherry on cake with the sporty AMG looks. All of these make the new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 look more aggressive than the standard version.

The GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe is a driver-focused car. There are five driving modes available to suit one’s style - Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual. While the first four modes are predefined by engineers at Mercedes-Benz, the Individual driving mode is user-defined one where the user gets to customize the dynamics such as response from the engine, transmission, suspension and steering of the performance-oriented SUV.
