German car manufacturer Audi India is working to launch the all-new A4 luxury sedan in August 2016. The 2016 A4 will be based on the MLB Evo platform and it will be 120 kg lighter than the Predecessor model.

Company has not finalized trim levels yet, but the A4 is likely to be available in two or more variants, a 2.0 diesel and 1.4 petrol. It will be loaded with a host of features like Audi’s Matrix LED headlights, fully digital instruments, MMI infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, Bang & Olufsen sound system, wireless phone charging, three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a sunroof and driving modes, etc.

New Audi A4 will be powered by the 2.0-liter four-cylinder TDI diesel engine that develops 190hp of power. The engine will come mated to Audi’s S Tronic 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. New Audi A4 is almost 120kg lighter than its predecessor, so there will be better fuel economy and great power to weight ratio as well.

The expected price of new Audi a4 is around INR 40 lakhs
