BMW to launch Mini Cooper Clubman All4 in India on Dec 15, 2016

BMW is all set to launch Mini Cooper Clubman All4 in India. This four door vehicle is essentially an estate version of Cooper hatchback. Being the largest car in Mini portfolio with conventional 4-door set-up, its tailgate has been split into two sections. This gives access to 360 litre boot space which can be further increased to 1,250 litres.

Mini Cooper Clibman is available in regular and S trims, it comes up with 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine from Cooper S developing 192PS at 5,000rpm and generates 280Nm at 1,250rpm. The torque output can be further increased to 300Nm with the overboost function. This engine is offered with an option of 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic. Mini claims that Clubman takes around 6.9 seconds to reach 100kmph and has a maximum speed of 225kmph.

BMW's Mini Cooper Clubman All4 is offered in SD diesel trim. It comes equipped with a 1,995cc 4-cylinder diesel engine that generates 190PS at 4,000rpm and 400Nm at 1,750-2,500rpm. Mini also states that Diesel variant delivers an overall efficiency of 20.83kmpl.

Electronic parking brake, electric seat adjustment and individual ‘Mini Your Interior’ customisation option that provides illuminated door bezels are all new features that Mini offers. In addition, it comes with an optional ‘comfort access’ system that automatically opens the split tailgate without the need for physically opening it.
