Mercedes-Benz India has made it official that it will launch the new AMG GT S in India on November 24. The new AMG-GT S car is the second model to be entirely developed by AMG, after the SLS AMG.

The new AMG-GT S built on the principle of 'Handcrafted by Racers'. The AMG GT S is also marked to serve as the Official Safety Car of the FIA Formula One World Championship. It is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine, which develops 503bhp of power for the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. This power bull can attain 0-100Km/h in mere 3.8 seconds with a top-speed of 311Km/h.

The car carries a classic GT car design setup with a long hood and a short seating cockpit and looks like a retro supercar. On the inside, it comes with a choice of silver chrome, matt carbon fibre, high-gloss carbon fibre, black diamond and matt silver fibre glass for the interior.

Mercedes-AMG GT S if full of safety features - Collision Prevention Assist Plus, Adaptive Brake, Attention Assist, Tyre pressure monitoring system,  Adaptive Highbeam Assist, Lane Tracking package including Lane, Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist,  Front airbags, combined thorax/pelvis side bags, window bags and knee bags for driver and front passenger.

Expected to price in tunes of Porsche 911 and likes. It is certainly the most high performance car by Mercedes.
