Mercedes Benz announced to launch new variant of its limousine S-Class, S 400, on March 29 at an estimated price of Rs 1.2 - 1.4 Crore in India. S400 will be positioned between the S350d and the S500.It will have everything of S-Class including supreme and standard quality upholstery, comfortable cabin space, standard air suspension at all four corners, and Rear Wheel Drive.

The new S will use a 3.0-litre, twin-turbocharged, direct-injection petrol V6 motor, producing 329bhp and 49kgm of torque. Engine will be mated with Merc’s 7G-Tronic seven-speed automatic gearbox.
