Mercedes-Benz has launched a Sport Edition of the A-Class, CLA and GLA in Indian. The Sport Edition is aimed to attract the young population and football fans. The new Sport edition models come with some improved cosmetic updates and few additional features like – Mercedes-Benz’s ‘Sport Edition’ badge, AMG carbon-fibre mirror cover, black hub caps, Valve cap black and a stainless steel sports pedal. In fact, the cars come with AMG body kits like - front and rear bumper, side skirts.

A total of 54 units Sports Edition A-Class and 108 CLA and GLA each will be manufactured from the Mercedes factory with the premium price mentioned below:

Mechanically, there are no changes in these models. The A-Class is powered by the same 122bhp 1.6-litre petrol and a 136bhp 2.2-litre diesel engine. The CLA is powered by the same 181bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and 134bhp 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine and the GLA is powered by 183bhp 2.0-litre turbo petrol and a 136bhp 2.1-litre turbo diesel.
