India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is ready with its facelifted Alto 800

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer is getting ready to launch an upgraded version of its entry level hatchback, the Alto 800. This will be the cosmetic refresh version of current running alto 800. The headlamps shape remains the same, but the turn indicators are now in amber shade instead of the clear-lens units.

The front grille is now much smaller and looks more attractive with a prominent Suzuki logo. It also gets a new front bumper with a much wider hexagonal air dam and round fog lamps. There is not so much change inside the cabin except new fabric design for the upholstery.

The alto 800 is powered by the same, three-cylinder 796 cc petrol engine that develops 48 PS of power and 69 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Alto 800 facelift will also continue to be offered with a CNG option.
