Maruti Suzuki after unveiling its new compact SUV Vitara Brezza in Auto Expo 2016 announced about its bookings being open. Bookings start at Rs 21,000/- in any Nexa dealership. The new SUV is expected to launch next month at an estimated price of Rs 6 – 8 Lakh.

The sub four meter compact SUV design is taken exclusively from Suzuki iV-4 concept and possesses all standard features. It will be available in only diesel variant, although company has planned to launch petrol variant and AMT at later stage. The power line of new SUV is equipped with 1.3 L Multi-jet unit diesel engine producing 88.7bhp of power at 4,000rpm along with 200Nm of torque at 1,750rpm. It will be mated with five-speed manual transmission.  

The new compact SUV Vitara Brezza will likely compete with Ford Ecosport and Mahindra TUV300 when launched in the market.
