Maruti Suzuki is going to launch the Baleno RS on March 3, 2017 in India. The carmaker has already started teasing the upcoming and performance variant of Baleno RS. The hatchback looks sportier and premium in its segment.

Baleno RS was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in India. The company has enhanced its exterior to make it stand out from the crowd. It will be powered by the Maruti’s much awaited 1.0-litre BoosterJet direct injection turbo petrol engine. This engine churns out 112bhp of power and 175Nm of peak torque.

Moreover, Baleno RS will be the first hatchback of Maruti Suzuki to join 100+ bhp club in India. This category includes namely - Fiat Abarth Punto, Volkswagen Polo GT and the Ford Figo 1.5.
