Maruti Suzuki registered sales growth of 8.5% in the month of December. While the domestic sales increased, exports declined for december as compared to last year december figures. December registered a growth of 11.5% in utility vehicle sales which include cars like Ertiga and Gypsy.

Maruti Suzuki sold 1, 11,333 units in the domestic market as compared to 98,109 units last year for the month of December. The largest hike came in the super-compact segment which observed a growth of 115% in sales. It sold 1,676 units of super-compact Dzire last december. The number raised to 3,614 units for this december. In exports, there is a decline in sales from 11,682 units of car in December last year to 7,816 units of car this year. With the Export of Baleno the export sales is likely to be increased this year.

Company did very well in 2015 and registered overall growth of 13%. They sold 10,68,846 units this year and saw an yearly increment of 1,23,143 units.
