Ertiga facelifted with introduction of automatic transmission in Petrol and SHVS technology for Diesel variants.

Maruti Suzuki launched facelifted Ertiga, its first ever MVP. The facelifted Ertiga gets cosmetic as well as mechanical updates. Introduction of automatic gearbox as a Petrol variant and SHVS (smart hybrid vehicle by Suzuki) technology for diesel variants. Newer Ertiga model is available in 6 Petrol variants starting from Rs. 5.99 lakhs and 5 Diesel variants starting from Rs. 7.55 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The exteriors changes include a new chrome grille, revised bumpers, chrome strip above the rear number plate and chrome garnish on the fog lamps. On the interiors, addition of a touch screen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity and Mirror Link system, electrically foldable ORVMs, button start with smart key, 12V socket in the second row, revised fabrics and 50:50 split third row seat. On the safety front, driver’s side airbag and seat belt reminder are standard across all variants. Upscale variants also get passenger airbag, ABS with EBD and seat belt with pre-tensioner, rear parking sensors and camera as optional.
