Mahindra and Mahindra is going to launch electric sedan, the Verito in India on 2nd of June, 2016. The car was first showcased as a concept at the Auto Expo 2014.

Verito is powered by a powerful 3-phase 72v electric motor which develops 41 Ps of power and 91 Nm of torque. Mahindra claims that the Verito can go 100 km on a full charge with a top speed of 86 kmph. The Car will take approx eight hours to complete charge and fast charging options will be available on the top D6 variant. Verito will be available in three trims – D2, D4, D6. 

The Verito is expected to price between Rs 8-9 lakh.
