Mahindra is launching Verito in Electric version next year. It will be powered by the same Drivetrain used in Mahindra e2o.

Mahindra, after facing major setback from ban of diesel cars in Delhi, is ready to comeback by launching an Electric version of Mahindra Verito in February 2016. It will be second all-electric product from Mahindra after the success of Mahindra e2o in the electric segment. Its price is not officially known but is expected to be higher than Rs 7.29 lakh of the current Mahindra Verito.

Mahindra Electric Verito is expected to be powered by same drivetrain that is used in Mahindra e2o that gives a top speed of 85 km/h and a range of 80 km with a 7-hour full charge. The car also features hill-hold and stand-still pick up to assist the driver. Electric Verito will also benefit from the FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric vehicles) scheme enabling subsidies on the car in this segment.
