Mahindra launched its much awaited all new compact SUV the KUV100 on 15 Jan in India at a price of Rs 4.42 – 6.76 Lakh (Ex-Showroom Pune). It will be offered in seven variants – K2&K2+, K4&K4+, K6&K6+ and K8 in seven all new colors.

The Exterior of new KUV100 is inspired by Mahindra XUV500 giving it sporty styling elements. The highlights include monocoque chassis like XUV500, beefy front fascia, large black plastic-clad front bumper. Interior of KUV100 has standard features with an 3.5 display, a infotainment system and two seating configurations - a standard 5-seat layout and a unique 6-seater layout using bench seat. In terms of safety, it gets ABS, EBD, and an engine immobilizer, with the optional dual airbags. The top variant K8 will get all these safety fearures as standard. Mahindra KUV100 also has Hybrid technology with engine start/stop feature and two driving modes - Power and Eco.

Mahindra KUV100 power line has all new mFalcon series of petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2L mFalcon G80 petrol engine churns out 82 bhp and peak torque of 114 Nm with a mileage of 18.15 kmph. The diesel engine is powered by 1.2L mFalcon D75 that churns power of 77bhp along with a peak torque of 190Nm with a mileage of 25.32Kmph.
