Mahindra has launched the eVerito, the all-electric version of its Verito sedan, at Rs 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The eVerito comes in three trim – the base D2 at Rs 9.5 lakh, the mid-spec D4 at Rs 9.75 lakh and the top-end D6 at Rs 10 lakh.
The car’s electric powertrain has an output of 41.4hp and 91Nm of torque with a top speed of 86kmph. Mahindra claims a maximum range of 110km on a full charge and its 72V lithium-ion battery pack would take about 8 hours 45 minutes to be fully charged through a standard 230V 15A outlet(power-socket). However, in fast charging mode, available on top-end D6 variant, battery attains 80 percent charge in 1 hour 45 minutes. The eVerito’s battery requires only 18 units of electricity to be fully charged. Mahindra is also offering an optional solar charger which can charge the car without using any external electric power source.
Car’s Revive function gives an extra 8km of drive when running critically low on power. The eVerito further employs regenerative braking which re-charges its batteries while the brakes are applied. eVerito comes with Telematics feature which keeps track of the car’s vital parameters and allows for remote monitoring and diagnostics.
