Fiat Chrysler introduces Jeep brand in India with the prelaunch of Jeep India website

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) officially launched their Jeep brand in India with the pre-launch of website for Jeep, www.jeep-india.com. The website features their models - Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee SRT and Wrangler Unlimited that are expected to be showcased at Indian Auto Expo in Februray 2016. Jeep started back in 1945. Their parent website (www.jeep.com) lists all models of Jeep that have been manufactured from the very Start.

Jeep also produces premium off-road SUVs. The initial plan of Jeep India was only providing diesel engines, but they plan on selling the powerful petrol SRT variant as well. The SRT Grand Cherokee is expected to have 475hp 6.4-litre v8 engine and it will be one of the most powerful SUVs available in India.
