British multinational car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is all set to launch the new F-Pace in October 2016. The car will come to India in both the petrol and diesel variants, however, Jaguar plans to launch the F-Pace only in the petrol avatar first.

The entry-level ‘Pure’ and ‘Prestige’ variants will be offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine that makes 180PS of power and 430Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, this engine drives the F-Pace from 0-100kmph in 8.7 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 208kmph.

In the top spec variant ‘R-Sport’ you get the more powerful 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel that makes 300PS of power and 700Nm of torque,  which is enough to make the SUV complete the 0-100kmph sprint in 6.2 seconds before it hits its top speed of 241kmph. Like the other variants, the R-Sport gets an 8-speed auto transmission and all-wheel drive as standard.
