Maruti Suzuki launched its much-anticipated Crossover, Ignis in India at just Rs. 4.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Crossover is powered by a familiar range of powertrain options - 1.2 litre petrol engine, making 83PS of power and 113Nm of torque, along with 1.3 litre diesel engine that develops 75PS and 190Nm of torque.
Both engines come mated with 5-speed manual gearbox as standard and AMT as optional. Maruti Suzuki claims efficient fuel efficiency of 20.89kmpl for petrol engine and 26.80kmpl for diesel engine.
As per the features, Ignis comes up with lots of gadgetry like – LED projector headlights with DRLs, dual-tone exterior paint shades and a ‘Smart Play’ touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink, and navigation. It also includes a dual-tone dashboard, push-button starter, and automatic climate control.
In terms of safety, Ignis comes up with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seats is mounted as standard.
