Hyundai motors India looks all set to launch the Tucson SUV this year in Indian market

Hyundai motors is planning to bring the Tucson SUV to the Indian market around September, 2016. The third generation Hyundai Tucson was shown at the Auto Expo 2016, will be positioned between Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Santa Fe.

The five-seater Hyundai Tucson gets the Hyundai’s signature hexagonal grille, elongated headlamps with LED and newly designed fog lamps. It is based on the Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language.

Hyundai Tucson SUV will most likely to come with a 2.0-litre, CRDi diesel engine that develops 175bhp of power and 402Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Tucson might also come with an optional four wheel drive (FWD) system.

The Tucson SUV is loaded with great features such as a large 8-inch touchscreen, Powered Tailgate with Gesture Recognition function, Automatic Parking system, different Drive Mode Selector, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Panoramic tilt-and-slide sunroof, automatic temperature control with dual zone, Floor console-mounted rear ac vents, 8-way power driver seat with power adjustable lumbar support, 6-way power passenger seat and Ventilated front seats,

Tucson SUV is expected to be priced between Rs 17 lakh for the base petrol variant and going up to Rs 22 lakh for the top-spec diesel variant.
