Hyundai launches Grand i10 facelift in India at Rs 4.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Hyundai has launched an updated model of Grand i10 in India with prices starting from Rs 4.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).  Grand i10 made its first debut in India in 2013 and this is the second-generation Grand i10 in India.

Grand i10 facelift comes in five variants, and the prices (ex-showroom, Delhi) are as follows:

What’s new?

Facelifted Grand i10 comes with two engine options in which one is petrol and other is diesel. Surprisingly petrol engine is the same as in predecessor model while 1.2L U2 diesel engine has been updated to displace more power. A 1.2L Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine develops 81 bhp of max. power and 160 NM of peak torque and the diesel engine produces max. power output of 73bhp and maximum torque of 190.4 NM. Both cars come mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

On the exteriror, it gets new front and rear bumpers. Front fog lamps are taken from the Elantra with integrated LED DRLs that are available only on the Sportz(O) and Asta variants. New 14-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels have been redesigned and will be available on the top spec. variants only.

Hyundai Grand i10 facelift comes in six exterior colours namely - Passion Red, Sleek Silver, Twilight Blue, Star Dust, Pure White and Golden Orange.

In features, the Grand i10 gets a rear parking camera with the display, 7.0 touchscreen audio system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Mirror Link, voice recognition and Smartphone navigation and LED DRLs in the Sportz(O) and Asta variants.

The Grand i10 Facelift competes with the Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Ford Figo.
