Hyundai India is all set to launch a petrol automatic Elite i20. The car will be equipped with an all-new 1.4-litre, dual VTVT petrol engine which develops 100hp of power. The transmission on the i20 petrol will be a four-speed automatic torque converter unit.
Hyundai will introduce this engine-transmission option only for the mid-level Magna trim. The bookings for the i20 petrol AT have begin with deliveries scheduled around mid-September.
With the launch of i20 automatic, Hyundai will expand its line-up of automatic transmission cars in India. The Creta SUV with a petrol engine is also available with an automatic transmission and the all-new Elantra has been recently launched with automatic options for both petrol and diesel engines.
