Hyundai Motor India announced its popular SUV Creta crossed 1 lakh bookings in eight months since its launch in India on July 23, 2015. Creta received over 5 lakh enquiries with 56,000 units already delivered in 8 months.

To reduce waiting period on Creata, its production is being increased by 30 percent, producing 13,000 units a month of which 10,000 units will be allocated for domestic market in India.

Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL), MD & CEO, Y K Koo said: "Creta has generated great response in global markets with more than 28,000 orders. With Creta, HMIL has strengthened its position in the SUV segment in India and has demonstrated excellence of ‘Made in India’ products as per global standards.
