Honda BR-V, the compact SUV from Honda is all set for launch in India on 5th May

Honda is all set to launch its most awaited BR-V in India on May 5, 2016. The compact SUV was first showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in New Delhi.

The car comes with thick Chrome Strip in Front, 16 Inch Alloys in 10 Spoke Design, Roof Rails, leather seats and a push button start with a large touchscreen infotainment screen, a squarish look hood with a chrome-laden grille and new headlamps with projector beams and chrome inserts. BRV is a 7-seater car, which is one of the biggest advantage it has. Both, middle and last rows are quite spacious in terms of legroom and headroom.

In terms of engines, the BRV hopefully will come with 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engines by Honda. The new compact SUV will also get both an automatic and manual transmission option and it will be positioned above the Mobilio.

Honda has started production of the BR-V at its Tapukara facility in Rajasthan.

BR-V’s rival will be Hyundai Creta, Nissan Terrano and Renault Duster.
