Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has announced that the recently launched BR-V has received around 9,000 bookings since its launch and currently there is a waiting period of 2 to 3 months.

The Honda BR-V is available with a choice of two engines - a 1.5-litre petrol engine which develops 119PS of power and 145Nm of torque. The petrol engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and CVT transmission as optional, which returns a fuel efficiency of 15.6kmpl. The other engine is 1.5-litre diesel which develops 100PS of power and 200Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission which returns a fuel efficiency of 21.5kmpl.
