Ford revealed its muscular sports Luxury Coupe Mustang in India on 28 Jan ahead of its showcase in Auto Expo 2016. The launch is expected in the second quarter of 2016 at an estimated price of Rs 50 – 55 Lakh. It is 1st to be launched as a right hand drive car in India and worldwide.

The sixth generation Mustang exterior has retro touching in rear, bulging bonnet and brawny wheel arches. Raked roofline and lengthy bonnet lend the Mustang a commanding muscular look. It gets LED headlamps with sequential turn signals and dual exhaust pipes as standard. Interior gets leather-trimmed steering wheel with audio and speed controls and tilt steering column, an infotainment system with touch screen and four driving modes – Normal, Sport+, Track, and Wet.

The power line of Mustang is powered by 5.0 L V8 engine producing max power of 420bhp. It will be mated to six-speed auto gearbox as standard.
