Ford to launch its all new muscle car Ford Mustang in India on 28 Jan, 2016 at an estimated price of Rs 45 – 55 Lakh. Ford is launching Mustang as a Right hand drive configuration for the first time, as it was available with only left hand drive option internationally.

The 2 seater Mustang coupe will be imported as CBU unit. Features are standard with latest 4.2 inches infotainment system and a new safety feature BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) that uses radar to detect a vehicle at a blind spot and alerts with an indicator in the appropriate exterior mirror.

The power line of Mustang is expected to be powered by 3 powerful petrol engines. The base variant is expected to be powered by a 3.7 L Ti-VCT V6 engine of 300PS power and 380Nm of torque, mid variants with 2.3 L EcoBoost engine of 310PS of power and 434Nm of torque, and top variant with 5.0 L V8 engine of 435 PS power and torque 542 Nm.
