Ford will launch its most awaited car, the mustang in India on July 13, 2016

Ford India will launch its most awaited car, the Mustang, on July 13, 2016, at the Buddh International Circuit in Noida. In India, however, it will be offered with only the 5.0-litre Ti-VCT V8 engine via the CBU route and is expected to come in a price range of nearly 60 lakhs.

The India bound Mustang will be powered by a 5.0-litre V8 engine which develops 435bhp of power, along with 524Nm of peak torque. It will also come with a special performance pack as standard including a limited-slip sports differential and four driving modes, namely Normal, Sport+, Track and Wet.

Ford Mustang features plenty of retro styling touches to the front and rear, in addition to a muscle bonnet and wheel arches. Design elements such as the wide muscular shoulders, raked roofline and lengthy front hood link the Mustang to its predecessors and give it a classic look.

The cabin of mustang feels special, with details such as airplane-like toggle switches on the centre console. A leather-trimmed steering wheel, bucket seats, a touchscreen infotainment system and ambient lighting are also part of the package.
