Ford India silently raises endeavour prices

Ford has increased prices for its popular SUV Endeavour by up to Rs 1.72 Lakh

American automaker Ford has increased prices of the Endeavour range in India, without much buzz. The SUV has been recording sales of around 400-600 units every month. It is also noticeable that Company has dropped prices of the Figo and Aspire by up to Rs 91,000 earlier this month.

The Endeavour is available with two diesel engine options - a 2.2 litre, 4-cylinder engine that makes 160PS of power and 385Nm of torque. It also comes with a more powerful 3.2-litre, 5-cylinder engine producing 200PS of power and 470Nm of torque. The 2.2 litre comes mated with a choice between an automatic and a manual transmission and the bigger engine comes only with an automatic transmission.

The features include - power adjustable/foldable wing mirrors, leather upholstery, an 8-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, rear parking sensors, 10-speaker sound system, integrated active noise cancellation and a TFT touchscreen infotainment system which supports CD, AUX, 2 USB ports and Bluetooth connectivity

It also gets a rear view camera, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, dual-airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control and ESP.

In terms of safety, the car is loaded with a sum of 7 airbags, a volumetric burglar alarm, Ford’s terrain management system, semi-auto parallel park assist, power-folding third row seats and a panoramic sunroof.
