Ford motors India has launched a 'Black Edition' of its compact SUV, the Ford EcoSport with prices starting at Rs 8.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Compact SUV is available in three variants - Trend+, Titanium & Titanium+ and features unique black detailing on the exteriors.

The special edition features all new black exteriors including a front black grille, black-out moulded headlights, black mirror covers, 16-inch black alloy wheels, black fog lamp, black roof rails & roof cross bars. It will equipped with upto six airbags for safety and Ford's in-car connectivity system that allows drivers to stay connected.

The Ford EcoSport Black Edition will be powered by the similar predecessor engines - a 1.5-litre TiVCT petrol, a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel and 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine. It is mated with  both manual and automatic transmissions.
