Fiat India launched its new car Abarth Punto which happens to be its steroid infused hatchback, Price started from Rs. 9.95 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Abarth Punto Evo is the second car from the Fiat Chrysler-owned performance brand in India. The Abarth Punto Evo, will house a 1.4-litre T-Jet turbocharged petrol unit under the hood that will be mated to a 5-speed manual. The Abarth Punto promises segment-leading performance numbers: 145bhp of power along with a maximum torque of 212Nm. The exterior changes include Abarth badge on the bonnet instead 'Fiat', a front grille with contrast horizontal slats, secondary air dams, a sportier rear bumper, and 16-inches dual-tone alloy wheels. It comes in two colors - Pearl white and Hip Hop black. On the interiors, it sports the signature Abarth badge on the steering wheel and new upholstery among other changes. On the safety front, 7 airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Hill-start assist control, etc. The Abarth Punto\'s closes rival is the Volkswagen GT TSI
