Datsun unveiled its highly anticipated, the trend-setting Urban-Cross Datsun redi-GO in India. It will be India’s first Urban-Cross, a car that takes the best of crossover with many features of an urban hatchback. The redi-GO will be officially announced on June 1, 2016 in India.

It is a unique fusion of compact crossover and urban hatchback. It combines the roominess, best in class ground clearance and sheer fun of a crossover. Based on the versatile (CMF-A) platform, it will be powered by an all-new 800cc fuel efficient engine paired to five speed manual transmission. Its all new suspension system would offer an excellent balance between handling and ride comfort.

With fresh, eye-catching styling, the Datsun redi-GO boosts its striking character lines along the bodywork. The distinctive ‘D-cut’ grille, headlamps and rear lamps are combined to create a sense of modern urban design. The prices of redi-GO are expected to be below that of the Renault Kwid considering the positioning of the Datsun brand.
